Backend & Web Development Internship
Habi is a habit tracker with a built-in focus timer and screen time limits, currently iPhone only. We are extending Habi to the web: a proper web experience plus the backend that powers accounts and sync. You will help build it from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Help design and build Habi's first web app
- Build backend services for accounts and syncing between devices
- Work across the stack: UI, APIs, and data
- Ship early versions, then improve them based on real feedback
What we're looking for
- Some experience with modern web development, such as TypeScript and a framework like React, Vue, or Svelte
- Interest in backend work: APIs, databases, or serverless platforms like Cloudflare Workers
- Something we can look at: a GitHub profile, a deployed site, or a course project
- Self-direction and clear written communication, since we work remotely
